Clinical Pharmacist Job Summary:
Kent Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide optimal pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective medication therapy.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement systems for desirable patient outcomes through cost-effective drug therapies
- Monitor and interpret medications orders, including verbal and written instructions
- Maintain accurate patient medication profiles and reconcile discrepancies
- Sustain the formulary by minimizing non-formulary procurements and promoting rational drug therapy selection
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited School
- Valid RI Pharmacist license
- Clinical Specialist: preferred residency or 5 years of clinical experience
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
