Course Overview:

The Instrumental Analysis Lab course is a hands-on learning experience that reinforces and expands on principles introduced in the lecture course. Students will apply quantitative, qualitative, and instrumental analysis of various sample types, focusing on the validity of results. Analytical methods for the qualitative and quantitative analyses of samples by gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, capillary, and gel are covered.

  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
