Job Description: Managed Care Liaison

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a skilled Managed Care Liaison to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our Managed Care department, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless access to care for our patients.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $43,000 per year, depending on experience. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely access to care.
  • Assist with public health coverage program applications, scheduling appointments, and identifying available health care services.
  • Conduct outreach activities, participate in marketing campaigns, and distribute promotional materials approved by the Managed Care Department.
  • Maintain accurate records, submit progress reports as directed, and identify and advocate on behalf of customers regarding barriers to coverage or service utilization.

Requirements:
  • High school graduation; AA or BA in Social Services preferred.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience required; additional work experience may be substituted for education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred.
