Role Overview

Censeo Consulting Group seeks a skilled Project Director to lead projects for our Federal clients at the IRS (Internal Revenue Service). As a key team member, you will manage day-to-day project activities, work closely with clients to understand their needs, and develop strategies to meet those needs.

This role is ideal for individuals with 3-7 years of related work experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or federal government service. Your expertise should include people management, communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and analysis. Experience working for or supporting the IRS is strongly preferred, including knowledge of IRS Digitalization projects and IRS Publishing organization operations.

In this position, you will oversee project teams, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve problems, and develop deliverables for our clients. Your creative problem-solving skills, ability to work under deadlines, and effective written and verbal communication skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Support all aspects of client engagements from defining strategy to preparing final deliverables.
  • Project Management: Oversee project teams, conducting assessments, planning meetings with IT stakeholders, and developing forms modernization production workflows.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, identifying trends, finding opportunities, and developing meaningful insights.
Requirements
  • A strong academic background with a BA/BS degree.
  • 3-7 years of related work experience in professional services, consulting, or federal government service.
  • Experience working for or supporting the IRS, preferably in digitalization projects and publishing organization operations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other spreadsheet and presentation software.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $165,000 depending on experience.
