Job Title: Senior Clinical Research Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Program Manager to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a portfolio of quantitative and qualitative research projects, developing and prioritizing new initiatives, and collaborating with the Principal Investigator (PI) to create team strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and prioritize strategic goals in partnership with the PI
  • Identify opportunities for future research, including co-creation of grant applications for new projects
  • Determine team strategic goals and plan in partnership with the PI
  • Adapt collaborative projects to the MGH environment for successful implementation
  • Manage research operations, including managing a large clinical trial of social needs navigational strategies
  • Lead implementation of specific studies, manage study staff, and assist in the training of new employees
  • Prioritize logistical and administrative aspects of multiple research studies, including overseeing reporting requirements, communications, and drafting reports as needed
  • Perform literature reviews and synthesize relevant data, edit manuscripts, and present at national and international scientific meetings
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of research experience (inclusive of graduate studies) required
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects/program, meet deadlines, and manage schedule
  • Superior writing, presentation, and organizational ability, as well as excellent communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently respond to time-critical issues and oversee and train research assistants and others on the team in collaborative projects
  • Ability to work within NIH and other federal and foundation regulations and guidelines
  • Strong data management and overall computer skills; ability to learn new computer applications
Working Conditions:

Duties will be carried out in a typical hybrid office environment; most days will be on-site in the office, with some remote work considered as appropriate. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
