Job Overview

Translational Research in Oncology (TRIO) is a global academic clinical research organization dedicated to advancing translational cancer research in the clinical trial setting. Our team is committed to providing cancer treatments of the future to the world of today.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain Clinical Outsourcing procedures, trackers, and budget tools to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify, select, engage, and oversee Third Party Organization contracts to meet business objectives.
  • Negotiate Master Services Agreements and budget grids to secure favorable terms.
  • Oversee budgets, including monthly reviews, forecasts, reconciliations, and change orders to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Identify and escalate out-of-scope activities for Sponsor Change Orders to maintain project integrity.
  • Train Operations on budget control processes to ensure effective implementation.
  • Support Clinical Outsourcing Unit (COU) Managers to achieve team goals.
  • Assist in developing budget proposals under COU Global Coordinator supervision to drive business growth.
  • Ensure timelines and quality standards are met through effective communication with all parties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Life Science is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a clinical trial environment, with at least 2 years in an international setting.
  • Expertise in contract and budget negotiation to drive business success.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness to ensure financial integrity.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Excel to analyze and present data.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country.

Pay Range: $100,000.00 to $134,000.00 - Salary to be influenced (or determined) by the education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
