Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate employee forums, orientations, and other HR-related activities.
  • Manage personnel transactions and insurance information through automated systems.
  • Maintain electronic records of employment applications and personnel files.
  • Conduct pre-employment processes, including background checks and verification of prior service.
  • Analyze HR issues and provide recommendations under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Administer employee health benefits, including open enrollment and status changes.
  • Collaborate with employees and managers to manage Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and related programs.
  • Update HR databases and serve as a point of contact for specific HR programs.
  • Represent the department at job fairs and benefits events.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in any field. Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: No prior experience required.

Licenses and Certifications: A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Human Resources, particularly in onboarding processes.
