Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to support our office in the Fort Belvoir, VA area. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for performing procurement procedures, advising on inspection and acceptance of goods and services, and coordinating the receipt of invoices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform contract administration and coordinate performance measurement with the requiring activity.
- Interpret solicitation provisions and contract clauses for vendors and Government officials, providing professional advice and recommendations.
- Assist the Contracting Officer with performing contract closeout functions for Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable contracts.
- Interface with the Program Office and Budget Office to verify deliverables and funds expended.
- TOP SECRET clearance with SCI Eligibility
- Five years Contracting experience, with DAWIA/FAC-C certification
- Expert knowledge of pre-award simplified acquisition procedures, Standard Procurement System (SPS) PD2, and FAR Part 13 procedures
