Position Summary
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Program Scheduler (Civil Engineering/Rail Transit) to oversee the creation and upkeep of program schedules, evaluate contractor timelines, and manage the scheduling efforts of third-party consultants, including conducting scenario analyses and schedule maintenance.
This is a full-time, onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain schedule data and reporting.
- Align program schedule activities with relevant design plans.
- Detail schedule activities based on design plans, updating durations as necessary to reflect construction timelines.
- Provide weekly and monthly updates on schedule analysis and progress.
- Oversee progress, manage changes in schedule durations, and verify duration assumptions.
- Outline schedule assumptions and identify key elements that may not be included in primary schedules.
- Analyze current schedules for correlation with future construction timelines.
- Assess schedules for reliability and risk, providing recommendations for improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Proficient in construction scheduling principles and software (e.g., Primavera P6).
- Experience in program and project schedule management.
- Familiarity with TILOS for creating Time Chainage schedules.
- Knowledge of construction methods and practices, particularly in rail systems.
- Ability to develop detailed construction schedules from conceptual plans.
- Experience in identifying and documenting schedule risks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of scheduling experience.
- Extensive background in project controls.
- Knowledge of rail and roadway transportation projects.
