Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Respond promptly and efficiently to all guest requests, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work Order Management: Complete work orders in a timely manner, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain all mechanical areas in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct daily inspections of public areas to identify any issues or concerns, and report these to management in a timely manner.
  • On-Call Availability: Be available on-call outside of regular working hours to address any maintenance issues that may arise.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, and administrative offices, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, pool, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Maintain room preventative maintenance schedules and keep updated records on file.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Personality and Appearance: Possess a friendly, outgoing personality and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Trade Skills: Demonstrate mastery of a minimum of three trade skills, including electronic systems and controls, mechanical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and general building management.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
