About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics Technician to join our team at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical interventions in obstetrics and gynecology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide scrub technologist duties for patients undergoing surgical interventions in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Work under the supervision of an RN/LVN to provide direct patient care within the scope of practice
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures
Requirements
  • Completion of scrub training with competency sign off by designated trainer
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year Patient care experience as a Care Partner II or equivalent
  • 1 year Patient care experience post completion of scrub competencies in Labor and Delivery
Preferred Qualifications
  • EMT, Medical Assistant or CNA Certificate upon hire
  • OB Tech-Surgical Tech Certificate upon hire
