Obstetrics Technician

As a Perioperative Surgical Specialist at Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, working closely with our RN/LVN team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scrub technologist duties for patients undergoing surgical interventions in various specialties, including C-Sections, hysterectomies, cervical lacerations, and tubal ligations.
- Work under the supervision of an RN/LVN to ensure seamless patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Completion of scrub training with competency sign off by designated trainer.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Patient care experience as a Care Partner II or equivalent.
- 1 year Patient care experience post completion of scrub competencies in Labor and Delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EMT, Medical Assistant or CNA Certificate upon hire.
- OB Tech-Surgical Tech Certificate upon hire.
