Job Title: Finance Project Manager

The Finance Project Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the overall project management function related to the software application needs of the FPG Accounting Team. This includes providing guidance, coordination, and management of the Kaufman Hall application, processes, and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the budget software and process for the Faculty Practice Group (FPG)
  • Ensure the integrity of the Kaufman Hall budget system, data, and financial reporting
  • Grant access at the appropriate levels to ensure confidentiality
  • Work with the finance team and end-users on financial reporting and the annual budget process
  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships between staff and management within the FPG
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA/Masters Preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and healthcare accounting
  • Knowledge of financial analysis in a healthcare academic and research environment
  • Technical proficiency in budgeting software, preferably Kaufman Hall
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff within the Finance department and other departments
