As a Team Trainer, you will play a critical role in supporting the high engagement, productivity, and retention of new members by organizing and delivering quality training on their home team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Ensure new and ongoing store and team training programs are successfully delivered and completed.
  • Team Support: Work within training deadlines and goals, coordinate with team leaders and the store trainer to schedule new member training during their first four shifts, and facilitate team-specific operational training for team members.
  • Customer Service: Train all team members on customer service standards and look for opportunities to provide timely feedback.
  • Product Knowledge: Train all team members on new products, their differentiation, sales tactics, and department placement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Consistently practice and model proper care, use, and maintenance of all team equipment and PPE.
  • Record Keeping: Organize, track, report, and maintain accurate training records using Whole Foods Market's learning systems.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience (or equivalent retail training experience).
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday, and work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
