Role Impact:

This position is crucial for fostering teamwork and accountability in maintaining safe and high-quality production standards. It is a hands-on role that demands strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members across various production lines.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement daily production strategies.
  • Conduct daily meetings to relay production objectives and company initiatives.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.
  • Take an active role in promoting current team members and in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • Perform daily quality audits to ensure product standards are met.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols by reporting incidents and participating in corrective actions.
  • Manage equipment needs by promptly communicating issues to the maintenance team.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors, customer service, maintenance, and site leadership as necessary.
  • Assess and report on daily production metrics and deviations from the production plan.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
  • Passion for servant leadership with experience in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience in the chemical industry or familiarity with chemical safety protocols is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills with peers and team members.
  • Proficient problem-solver capable of making timely decisions.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including OneDrive, Word, Teams, and Excel.
  • Commitment to safety and accountability for team safety practices.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is a significant advantage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands for handling, and reach with arms.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must obtain respirator certification and regularly wear a full-face respirator.

Work Environment:

Industrial warehouse setting – non-climate controlled.
