About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Northeast K-12 team at College Board. As a key member of our State & District Partnerships group, you will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders at schools, districts, and/or states within an assigned territory.

Your primary focus will be on executing a district and/or state strategy, balancing growth orientation with successful implementation. You will consistently build and maintain account management planning processes and business reviews with each assigned account, managing operational activities of College Board commitments for delivering educational services.

You will deeply understand state and district opportunities and problems to deliver district account plans that provide data-driven, personalized solutions meeting state and district needs. Your ultimate goal will be to maintain and grow business across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage approach to and execution of partnerships with schools, districts, and/or states (50%)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key officials independently or collaboratively with colleagues (30%)
  • Execute internal processes and manage regional projects (20%)
About You

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of relevant and progressive experience in education or a related field. You should possess a passion for education and a deep commitment to the College Board's mission of promoting educational equity, access, and excellence for students of all backgrounds.

You should have achievement orientation, with evidence of setting and attaining goals. Demonstrated ability to build deep and meaningful relationships, influence others to action, and effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously is essential.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing and leading presentations, and ability to analyze and succinctly summarize key data points to present key findings to constituents are required.

Strong organization and prioritization skills and the proven ability to move forward multiple time-sensitive projects in concert, both independently and as a member of the team, are necessary.

Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft applications, and willingness & ability to travel extensively (at least 40%) are also required.
