Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the routing of faxes and the importation of all patient-related documents
- Ensure patient records are completed prior to upcoming appointments
- Daily forwarding of incoming test results, including pathology, lab, or diagnostic testing, to the appropriate provider for review
- Retrieve patient charts for audits, peer reviews, or chart requests
- Process requests for patient medical records via mail, fax, or copying, ensuring proper medical release and authorization
- Timely completion of faxing tasks
- Handle daily operational tasks
- Answer incoming telephone calls
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a medical environment performing medical records functions is preferred
