We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmic Medical Technician to join our team at Clear Sight Partners, LLC. As an Ophthalmic Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Pasadena Eye Center.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient medical histories, visual acuities, and other relevant information.
- Perform visual acuity testing, auto and manifest refractions, tonometry, and other essential examinations.
- Assist with contact lens fitting and instruct patients on proper insertion and removal techniques.
- Participate in light cleaning and maintenance of the facility, ensuring a sanitized environment.
- Assist with in-office procedures, including consenting patients and preparing for minor surgeries.
- Minimum of one year of experience in ophthalmology.
- Certification through JCAHPO is preferred.
- Associates Degree is preferred.
- Competitive hourly wage ($16-20).
