Ophthalmic Assistant

The Ophthalmic Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional vision care under the supervision of a licensed ophthalmologist. This position involves assisting with patient histories, performing diagnostic tests and procedures, patient scheduling, and exam room preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist ophthalmologists with patient care and examinations
• Perform diagnostic tests and procedures under the supervision of a licensed ophthalmologist
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Ophthalmic Technician Program or Medical Assisting program preferred
• 1-2 years' experience in an ophthalmic practice preferred
