Role Impact:
The Recovery Specialist III plays a pivotal role in executing daily operations and building rapport with program participants at the Sobering Center. This position is essential for ensuring organization, structure, and safety for all staff, clients, and community members present at the Sobering Center.

Key Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to positively influence the lives of individuals facing substance abuse challenges, often alongside co-occurring conditions. You will develop and apply your skills in compassionate care, crisis intervention, and de-escalation within a supportive and inclusive work environment. Your contributions will assist our community in providing substance abuse treatment, guiding individuals from despair to a place of value and potential for a better future.

Accountabilities:

  • Observe and monitor client behavior and activities at the Sobering Center to ensure safety and stability.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility on a daily basis.
  • Assist with transportation and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in client monitoring, specifically with substance use disorder populations.
  • Basic understanding of substance use issues.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive benefits package for all full-time and part-time employees working over 20 hours per week, including:

  • 100% coverage of medical, dental, life, and long-term disability insurance for employees, with 50% coverage for dependents.
  • Paid time off and holiday pay.
  • Retirement benefits after six months of service.
  • Opportunities for training and continuing education.

Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
