About Amity Foundation:

As a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor III, you will play a critical role in delivering face-to-face rehabilitative programming services to participants in our Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDTP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver treatment programming services to participants and conduct group and/or individual sessions.
  • Effectively implement scheduled program curriculum and lead face-to-face group and individual meetings.
  • Engage participants daily, reinforce group rules and expectations, and work with participants to develop and implement treatment/action plans.
  • Review treatment plans, evaluate and record treatment progress, and maintain accurate and timely participant records.
  • Prepare reports, records, and plans that meet Amity standards and comply with clinical and administrative rules.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in a social service-related field and licensure by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, or equivalent experience and certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and typing skills.
  • Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS (preferred).
  • Ability to maintain sensitivity and objectivity under pressure and protect participant confidentiality.

About the Position:

This is a Non-Exempt position with a competitive hourly wage of $41.00. The shift is 12pm - 8:30pm. Amity Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation and sick time, and 401K and HSA programs.
