The Aftercare Program at High Tech High is an essential part of the school day experience. Our Aftercare Assistants play a unique role as mentors, tutors, activity leaders, and sports coaches. In addition to providing a safe and quiet place for students to study or receive extra tutoring, our program also offers enrichment opportunities. This position is in-person and on-campus.

Duties Include:
  • Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors
  • Maintain an orderly, safe, and organized environment for the students
  • Take attendance to ensure that all students are accounted for
  • Plan, develop, and run engaging student activities
  • Assist students with virtual learning activities and homework assignments
  • Understand and implement emergency procedures, including safety protocols
  • Perform related duties as assigned
