Host Position Overview

Availability on Weekends is Essential

In the capacity of a Host at Steins, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding customer service by managing phone inquiries, handling reservations, and fostering a welcoming environment for our patrons.

  • Must possess a friendly and approachable attitude
  • Prior experience is advantageous but not required
  • Greet and assist guests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Guide guests to their tables while ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple tasks while upholding a high standard of service
  • Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management
  • Maintain a clean and inviting entrance for the restaurant
  • Opportunities for advancement within the organization
  • California Food Handler certification is required within 30 days of employment
  • Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast POS systems is beneficial

This is a part-time hourly role with the potential for tips, starting at $18.75 per hour.
