Position Overview:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in accordance with individualized physician directives. This role involves comprehensive assessments, implementing prescribed therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess, diagnose, and address language, speech, and swallowing disorders in patients of various age groups.
2. Develop tailored care plans with measurable and achievable goals based on evaluation results and patient or family aspirations.
3. Conduct thorough evaluations to outline therapy needs, objectives, and anticipated results.
4. Maintain and update care plans through timely documentation of patient progress, adjusting goals and treatments as necessary, and planning for discharge when appropriate.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and family members, to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive care.
6. Document patient interactions in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
7. Foster effective communication among team members, patients, and families to enhance care delivery.
8. Mentor and supervise new graduates, clinical fellows, and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid and unrestricted SLP license in the practicing state.
- Current CPR certification and NPI number.
- Proven proficiency in clinical assessments and adherence to documentation standards.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in pediatric therapy settings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks related to patient care.
- Must be capable of functioning in diverse environments, including potential exposure to allergens and health-related conditions.
