Job Title: Manager, Disposition NAR

Scout Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Disposition NAR to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ramping up material planning and control operations with all suppliers located in the NAR Region, including Just-in-time Suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define planning concepts and projects related to the establishment of the material planning and control department responsible for the NAR Region, including Just-in-Sequence supply.
  • Develop and implement User Manuals and Department procedures to ensure daily monitoring of material flow from suppliers to production lines, analyze requirements, and identify bottlenecks.
  • Support suppliers in process definition, including transportation, infrastructure, packaging, scheduling, and equipment, to ensure a cost-optimal and reliable supply chain.
  • Contribute to forward sourcing and global sourcing processes, including preparation of logistics audits and checking logistics standards fit to Scout's expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to establish cross-departmental procedures to ensure parts supply on time, based on supplier production capacity and production demand, considering quality requirements under changing conditions.
  • Identify potential risks in production or supply chains and develop and implement countermeasures in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and agree with internal and external stakeholders on emergency procedures for quick communication and decision-making in case of material shortages.
  • Nurture ongoing, constructive, and cooperative communication with suppliers to ensure planned production volumes and ramp-up curves.
  • Establish material flow processes and networks utilizing group synergies in the NAR region.
  • Support the recruiting and qualification of own personnel to meet project production milestones.
  • This role is carried out responsibly in factual cooperative collaboration with supervisors, employees, involved, and affected departments, in compliance with existing guidelines, standards, and regulations.
  • Support own process control through planning and implementing KPIs with clear responsibility distribution, coordinate problem-solving activities in case of deviation from defined targets.
  • Analyze and authorize the department budget, assure its fulfillment, and develop countermeasures to compensate deviations observed by optimizing or reassigning technical and human resources.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience as leadership in logistics or production environments in the automotive industry (e.g., inbound/outbound logistics, supplier management, container management, JIT/JIS).
  • Experience in automotive logistics supplier management is desirable.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related fields.
  • Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, and software systems, as well as process design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
