We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Health Information Specialist to join our team at Clinics of North Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and prepare medical records for patient care, coding, and reimbursement activities
- Review and edit tickets for accurate insurance information
- Perform chart preparation for electronic medical records, including incoming information from various sources
- Maintain open communication with physicians, staff, and supervisors to resolve issues
- Ensure confidentiality of patient and employee information
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
