Job Description

Leprino Foods is a leading global manufacturer of mozzarella and lactose, with a reputation for quality and innovation. Our Lubbock, TX facility is a state-of-the-art production center that showcases our commitment to excellence. As a Controls Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our control systems, working closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and start-up new projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting control systems, including PLC programming, HMI programming, and field device troubleshooting.
  • Integrating PLCs, HMIs, and process controls within the facility.
  • Developing Wonderware and Panelview Plus programs.
  • Liaising with engineers and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth project implementation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong background in industrial controls engineering, preferably with experience in dairy or cheese manufacturing. A degree in Controls Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is required, as well as relevant industry certifications such as Allen Bradley/Wonderware programming. We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $90,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
