We are seeking a skilled Truck Body Technician to join our team at Bruckner Truck Sales, Inc. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the bodies of heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet our high standards.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be expected to read and understand blueprints, technical publications, and service manuals, as well as use various tools and equipment to perform repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain truck bodies, including cab, hood, and related parts;
  • Determine usability of component parts and list required materials;
  • Write detailed descriptions of work performed on each repair;
  • Use computer systems to manage repair orders and track progress;
  • Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals;
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace;
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field;
  • Three years of experience in the truck mechanic trade;
  • Valid CDL driver's license;
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb around in tight spaces;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Willingness to take continuing education courses and adapt to new technologies.
