We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AP Clerk to join our team in Harahan, LA. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Key Responsibilities:- Process accounts payable invoices and employee expense reports for accurate, timely payment.
- Ensure proper general ledger and projects coding of invoices.
- Process supplier payments via check, ACH, and wires.
- Work with the Purchasing team and suppliers to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Scan accounts payable documents into an electronic repository and assist with the month-end close process.
- 2+ years of relevant accounts payable or accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting ERP systems (Oracle a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Interest in technology and ability to adapt to new systems.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.
- Full-time hours.
- Weekly pay.
- 6-month project.
