Join Our Team as a Collections Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Collections Representative to join our team at IQVentures Corporate, LLC. As a key member of our Collections team, you will play a critical role in helping customers obtain financial assistance by providing exceptional customer service and resolving debt collection issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect payments from customers for secured loans and pawns.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and preventing customers from progressing to the next stage of collections.
  • Contact customers to notify them of delinquent accounts and solicit payment.
  • Advise customers of necessary actions and persuade them to pay amounts due on secured loans and pawns.
  • Record information about customers' financial status and collection efforts.
  • Meet production goals, including promise to pays, dollars collected, and individual, team, and department goals.
  • Perform all tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with peers and customers.
  • Ensure all federal and state guidelines, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), are followed while meeting defined Quality Assurance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to make quick, accurate, and appropriate decisions.
  • Strong active listening, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Ability to read and write clear and understandable instructions.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team to achieve goals and identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing deadline-driven environment while effectively managing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing accordingly.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours.
Experience and Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 year of collection or call center experience required.
  • Hospitality Industry experience a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates a plus.
