Role Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assembly tasks on mechanical components.
  • Ensuring parts meet specifications through the use of blueprints and precision measuring tools, including calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to construct and maintain tooling.

Work Schedule:
Flexibility is key, as you will be required to work across various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts, in alignment with the collective bargaining agreement.

Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • Experience in mechanical assembly using blueprints and measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency with hand tools.
  • The ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary and meet visual acuity standards.
  • Capability to interpret process plans, sketches, and data to outline tasks.
  • U.S. citizenship due to facility requirements.

Desired Skills:
We value additional skills such as:
  • Experience in measurement and inspection.
  • Knowledge of GD&T, ANSI, and military specifications.
  • Technical training or apprenticeship with over 5 years of experience in assembly techniques.
  • Expertise in structural assembly and riveting.
  • Familiarity with helicoil insertion.
