Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is the primary point of contact for key customer accounts at Nidec Motor Corporation. This role is responsible for securing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing relationships with key customer accounts in the New York and New England areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with key customer accounts
  • Maintain and expand existing business with customer accounts
  • Act as a liaison between customer demands and plant demands
  • Collaborate with Account Coordinators to manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues with key customer accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through issue resolution
  • Develop a database of customer knowledge to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of business disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and customer focus
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and resources effectively
