Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Training Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a Senior Training Professional, you will be responsible for providing training support to our United States Navy and International customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Surface Combat Systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement training solutions
  • Conduct training sessions in a shipboard and waterfront environment
  • Travel domestically and internationally approximately 40%
  • Hold a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position
  • Meet the basic qualifications outlined below
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in a Combat Information Center (CIC) or Combat Systems Training Team (CSTT) environment for Aegis or SSDS platforms
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with teams
  • Ability to build and present training program briefings and content for US and FMS Navy officials
  • Ability to write using clear and concise language
  • Ability to comfortably stand in front of a classroom providing technical presentations
Desired Skills
  • Experience operating an Aegis trainer such as Oasis, Virtual Operator Training (VOT) or Next Generation Simulation (NGS)
  • Familiarity with scenario development utilizing relevant onboard training system
  • Experience with curriculum development
  • Master Training Specialist (MTS) certification
  • Relevant experience or knowledge of multiple Surface Combatant platforms
