About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Pet Pro at Bark n Zoom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our canine and feline guests
  • Provide a clean and comfortable environment for our guests, including cleaning and sanitizing enclosures, exercise yards, and common areas
  • Engage in play activities with pets, including fetch, exercise walks, and basic obedience games
  • Supervise activities of multiple dogs throughout the day and monitor for potential conflicts or escalations
  • Monitor guest's health by daily charting of eating and elimination habits and dispose of and clean up any stool and urine
  • Follow all standards of safety with regards to handling guests, particularly aggressive guests and escape artists
  • Pay specific attention to special handling notes, such as medication administration and separate feeding
  • Consult with other departments as needed to ensure seamless communication and care
Requirements
  • Passion for animals and animal care, with a focus on safe and gentle handling
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts
  • Ability to work in temperature extremes, work outside, or in distracting work environments
  • Ability to tolerate being in close contact with various bodily fluids and to get dirty frequently
  • Must be comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and to lift up to 60 lbs
