Job Summary
Dartmouth Health is seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team in Lebanon, NH. As a key member of our Department of Psychiatry, you will provide comprehensive care for patients in a 6-bed adolescent inpatient psychiatry unit as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement therapeutic programming for patients, including trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy strategies.
- Supervise other therapy staff and provide psychological consultation to a small service of children and adolescents admitted to the pediatric service.
- Contribute to the training of mental health clinicians across multiple disciplines, including regular supervision of trainees rotating on the inpatient unit and consultative services.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
- Relevant clinical experience in inpatient psychiatry settings
- Strong supervisory and management skills
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
