Avionics Systems Engineer

COLSA is seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and verifying avionics subsystems for various aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of avionics engineering principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future aircraft systems.
- Support the development of avionics subsystems, including definition, development, integration, and verification methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure avionics systems meet requirements and are airworthy.
- Assist in the development of technical documents, including ICDs, sustainment plans, and test and evaluation plans.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide technical advice on avionics system design and development.
Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in an ABET-accredited engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years' functional area experience.
- Knowledge of avionics engineering principles, processes, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the required level.
