Job Title: Avionics System Engineer

BTAS, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Avionics System Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of aircraft-level system integrity plans, programs, and capabilities for complex FMS F-16 avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the definition of all system integrity technical program tasks to be accomplished.
  • Develop and implement system integrity ground and flight test verification plans.
  • Develop aircraft-level SCGs and assist in monitoring development and implementation of aircraft-level AT, IA, and system integrity programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of aircraft-level system integrity plans, programs, and capabilities for complex F-16 avionics systems.
Requirements:
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for higher read-ins.
  • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
  • MA/MS degree plus 12 years of experience, five of which must be in the DoD, or a BA/BS degree plus 15 years of experience, five of which must be in the DoD, or 20 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of DoD acquisition program office experience.
  • Expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft system integrity programs.
  • Expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft AT programs.
  • Expertise in implementing U.S. military aircraft Information Assurance (IA) and SWA programs.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
