Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and categorize invoices to ensure timely payments.
  • Confirm the correctness of client matter codes, office codes, and disbursement codes.
  • Establish new vendor accounts and maintain the vendor database.
  • Ensure proper routing of charges for approval and authorization for payment.
  • Prepare and manage electronic check requests for printing at various locations.
  • Create reports utilizing Microsoft Excel.
  • Generate invoices for accounts receivable; prepare daily bank deposits; record client payments.
  • Assist with special projects across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing departments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain process workflows and documentation.
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Assist with additional accounting tasks as directed by the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in full cycle Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable is preferred.
  • Prior internship experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with coding and posting invoices is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time and resources effectively.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
