Event Staff Opportunity at the University of Georgia

Are you passionate about sports and sales? Do you enjoy interacting with fans and providing excellent customer service? We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as event staff for the University of Georgia football games.

Responsibilities:
  • Auction booth and autographed memorabilia product setup: You will need to be at the stadium by call time, which is usually approximately 2-3 hours before kickoff. This part of the job requires some lifting and physical labor.
  • Sales & Retail Functions during game: Our auctions begin when the gates open. You'll be ready to greet incoming fans with a big smile and be ready to help them with any questions about the silent auction format, product/autograph questions and using our Square POS system on the iPad app to check people out who may want to purchase certain items before the auction ends.
  • After the Game: Booth teardown and packing up items that are left to be loaded into our truck/van later. Putting away supplies and organizing bid sheets and getting everything packed away for the next game.
The Numbers:
  • Compensation is $20/hr in cash paid after each game.
  • $20 re-imbursement for parking (if applicable) and up to $15 for food. You are responsible for finding parking and getting to the meet-up location at the stadium by call-time.
  • Must be able to lift 20-50lbs and be on your feet for long periods of time.
