About the Department
The Department of Small Animal Medicine and Surgery comprises approximately 50 faculty members, 51 clinical residents, ten rotating interns, seven specialty interns, and three administrative staff members.
Shared laboratory space and technical support are provided within the Department, and there are six dedicated research technicians who assist in the research missions of the Department's faculty.
The Department participates in the college-wide M.S. and Ph.D. programs.
About the Job
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as an Open Rank Dermatology Search.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Department's teaching, research, and clinical service missions.
Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students in the Department's dermatology program.
- Conduct research in the field of dermatology and publish scholarly articles.
- Provide clinical service to patients in the Department's veterinary teaching hospital.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong background in dermatology and a commitment to teaching, research, and clinical service.
A Ph.D. or equivalent degree is required.
