Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to lead the preparation and processing of wide-ranging planning documents within California, including General Plans, Specific Plans, Community/Corridor Master Plans, Development Applications, Zoning and other Ordinances, and development applications.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Planning or a related field, plus a minimum of ten years' experience, and American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and processing of planning documents within California
  • Manage comprehensive planning projects, programming, and public engagement
  • Develop and implement business development strategies
  • Mentor and train staff
  • Coordinate and present at public meetings
  • Stay up-to-date with California planning and zoning laws
