Job Summary:
The Stocktaker is a critical role within our Inventory Control team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This position requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly cycle counts to verify inventory levels
- Count and record product quantities in the warehouse
- Research and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and database records
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Assist with product location and retrieval as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with proprietary systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50-100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment:
The Stocktaker will work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and exposure to industrial vehicles. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is also required.
