Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager III

Join the City of New Orleans, LA team as an Infrastructure Project Manager III and play a key role in ensuring the effective management of infrastructure projects. As a seasoned project manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects to meet the city's infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including city officials, contractors, and community groups, to ensure project alignment with city goals and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and make adjustments as needed to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet city standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Geology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 6 years of professional construction or technical project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
