As a Psychometric Specialist at Kryterion, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of seasoned experts in psychometrics and assessment design. Role Summary:

In this role, you will balance client engagement with comprehensive statistical evaluations. You will oversee all aspects of test development and maintenance. While you excel in independent tasks, you also recognize the importance of teamwork and know when to involve colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct job analysis studies
  • Create test blueprints and specifications
  • Lead item development and technical review sessions
  • Manage item banks and implement quality control measures
  • Execute Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Item Response Theory (IRT) analyses and provide insights
  • Facilitate standard-setting studies (e.g., Modified Angoff)
  • Conduct equating studies and maintain expertise in IRT methodologies
  • Draft comprehensive technical reports
  • Oversee test maintenance tasks, including revisions
  • Develop project plans and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Offer guidance for accreditation processes (e.g., NCCA, ANSI/ANAB)

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Educational Measurement, Educational Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Certification and Licensure sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SPSS statistical software
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-25%, including occasional weekends for client workshops
