Job Overview

The role involves diagnosing and rectifying issues related to Rotork products, utilizing both mechanical and electrical expertise, along with a solid understanding of actuation and automation systems. While primarily based in the workshop, there may be occasions to assist Field Service personnel on-site.

Workshop Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate each actuator based on reported issues and conduct thorough visual and manual inspections.
  • Provide detailed estimates for labor, necessary components, and projected completion timelines.
  • Execute electrical and mechanical diagnostics to pinpoint problems.
  • Upon receiving a purchase order, effectively schedule repair activities to align with completion deadlines.
  • Carry out actuator repairs, including functionality testing, cleaning, and repainting as needed.
Field Responsibilities:
  • Field assignments may encompass commissioning, preventive maintenance, or repair tasks.
  • Utilize mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues on-site.
Production Duties:
  • Prepare for production by gathering all necessary components and conducting visual inspections.
  • Assemble components according to engineering specifications and standard operating procedures.
Administrative and Training Tasks:
  • Ensure completion of job reports on-site and provide a copy to the customer.
  • Timely submission of job reports and timesheets to the Service Coordinator for customer invoicing.
  • Manage the booking and shipping of service inventory as required.
Qualifications:
  • Trade certification or technical diploma, preferably with formal electrical training.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, automation, or flow control.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation: $24 - $27/hr + Bonus
