We are seeking a skilled Industrial Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of crane systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and replacing worn-out components.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on-site, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their material handling needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Document findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, using company-approved documentation tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry codes and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety within the organization.
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work varied overtime and be available for on-call rotations.
- Competitive salary range: $22 - $48 an hour.
