About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of cranes and hoists to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts and replacing worn-out components.
  • Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components, including motors, gearboxes, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and diagnose problems using technical expertise and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Document all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry codes and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, gearboxes, and control systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to travel and work out of town, as needed.
