Key Responsibilities:- Mortgage Origination: Interview applicants to obtain necessary information on financial needs and goals, employment, income, credit, assets, and liabilities. Utilize this information to qualify the applicant for an appropriate mortgage loan product and counsel clients on alternative mortgage products to match their capacities and goals.
- Loan Support: Submit loan applications with complete borrower information, documentation, and other aspects necessary for processing. Coordinate timely processing and closing of loans with processors, underwriters, appraisers, and closing agents.
- Sales: Represent the Bank in diverse lending and outreach opportunities to generate sales leads. Participate in calling efforts and other sales strategies to leverage potential leads and identify opportunities to cross-sell Bank products and services when appropriate with existing clients.
- Loan Expertise: Maintain current knowledge of all mortgage loan products, including eligibility standards, documentation, and underwriting requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Mortgage origination or Mortgage telephone sales OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Mortgage origination or Mortgage telephone sales
- Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act
- Must possess a valid driver's license
