Transition Finance Strategies LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in third-party retirement plan administration services for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership (ESOPs) and 401(k) Plans.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ESOP Administrator to join our team. As a Senior ESOP Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of engagement management, including recordkeeping, compliance testing, distributions, and regulatory reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a caseload of large and complex ESOP clients, ensuring timely and accurate administration of ESOP plans.
  • Conduct compliance testing, including 409(p) testing, to ensure ESOP plans are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute ESOP plan documents, including annual reports and summary plan descriptions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry developments, applying knowledge to ensure ESOP plans are administered in accordance with current laws and regulations.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in ESOP administration, including ESOP related compliance testing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ESOPs and other qualified retirement plans.
  • Possess or working towards QPA or QKA certification.
  • Experience in ESOP plan review.
  • Advanced level Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
