Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at HealthStar Inc. - Equip Your Future. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Registration: Greet and register patients in a prompt, pleasant, and courteous manner, verifying all necessary information.
- Medical Records Management: Prepare patient medical records for daily appointments, update profiles, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Ensure accurate and efficient scheduling of appointments, manage patient referrals, and maintain current information on appointment schedules.
- Financial Transactions: Collect co-pays and small balances, balance the cash drawer daily, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer telephone calls, screen calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in typing and data entry, knowledge of clinic/medical practice procedures, customer service principles, and phone system operations.
- Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 30-50 pounds, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
